What is PTFE

PTFE is a robust synthetic polymer that can be categorized into non-porous and microporous forms.
Non-porous PTFE: It was initially widely used for applications such as water pipe sealing tapes, valves, gaskets, and kitchen cooking utensils.
Microporous PTFE: The microporous structure is formed in the form of a thin film, which allows the material to have both breathability and moisture permeability while retaining its waterproof capabilities.

JNS specializes in microporous ePTFE films, which are made using excellent chemical and heat-resistant PTFE resins. Through biaxial stretching during the production process, the material expands and forms a three-dimensional fibrous structure. It is a strong, high porosity, low-density, and highly resilient material that can be used in various applications such as polymer films, consumer electronics, automotive electronics, filtration materials, laminated fabrics, chemical packaging, and more.
